How Do I Pay A Contractor or Submit An Invoice?

Programs need to pay contractors for work done to further the charitable mission of the fund. You can submit their invoice to Legacy to pay them from your fund.

To pay an invoice, please follow these instructions:

  • Navigate your web browser to www.theoffices.com/invoices
  • Fill in the applicable information on the form.
    • Please note that contractors will need to fill out IRS Form W-9 for work they are paid for. This can be submitted along with the invoice.
  • Once you have uploaded the invoice along with the payment instructions, click submit.

This will go directly into the Legacy System for processes. Legacy will then do the due diligence required of them for compliance. This process can take 2-3 weeks depending on the work load and the amount of invoices submitted. You will also get periodic updates via email when the request reaches certain points within the process.

You can check on the progress of the request and communicate with Legacy directly by going to the Legacy Portal at www.theoffices.com/portal.
